All the proceeds resulting from the sale of these special chocolate chip cookies are given to local charities.<\/p>\n<p>For the past 3 years, this little $1 treat has allowed the Fondation M\u00e9dicale to purchase more equipment for the institutions it serves in the region. In all, more than $35,000 has been given to the Fondation thanks to these participating restaurants.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Partnership<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are already working on a partnership with these same restaurants for September 2017. \u00a0&#8220;We plan to ask local personalities to get involved in this campaign and thus maximize revenue for the Fondation M\u00e9dicale,&#8221; explains the executive director of the Fondation M\u00e9dicale des Laurentides et des Pays-d&#8217;en-Haut, Daniel Desjardins.<\/p>\n<p>The Fondation M\u00e9dicale is looking even farther ahead. &#8220;Beginning next year, we would like to link up with one event a month to increase our revenue,&#8221; says Mr. Desjardins.
