This type of chair provides the patient with maximum comfort while allowing the inclining position to be adjusted at various times of the day to help limit the risks of bedsores and pressure wounds.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe patients in this unit are often confined to their chair for 2 to 4 straight hours. It is important to give them the most comfort possible,\u201d explains the executive director of the Fondation M\u00e9dicale des Laurentides et des Pays-d\u2019en-Haut, Daniel Desjardins.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis piece of equipment simplifies the work of the medical staff,\u201d continues Mr. Desjardins.
