{"id":1033,"date":"2017-07-27T11:17:24","date_gmt":"2017-07-27T15:17:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fondationmedicale.com\/premiere-cloche-de-recuperation-de-vetements-installee-territoire\/"},"modified":"2017-09-11T17:09:44","modified_gmt":"2017-09-11T21:09:44","slug":"premiere-cloche-de-recuperation-de-vetements-installee-territoire","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fondationmedicale.com\/en\/premiere-cloche-de-recuperation-de-vetements-installee-territoire\/","title":{"rendered":"The first clothing drop box installed in the region"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The Fondation M\u00e9dicale des Laurentides et des Pays-d&#8217;en-Haut again breaks new ground by installing clothing drop boxes to supply its thrift shop, Tr\u00e9sors de la Fondation.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>The very first drop box has been installed at Lortie &amp; Martin, located at 20 Rue St-Paul Est in Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts. &#8220;We owe a debt of gratitude to its owner, Normand Lortie, and to its general manager, Christian B\u00e9lair,&#8221; stresses the executive director of the Fondation M\u00e9dicale des Laurentides et des Pays-d&#8217;en-Haut, Daniel Desjardins.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Other drop-off points<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A total of six clothing drop boxes will be installed in Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts. &#8220;Negotiations are underway with businesses in the city. The drop-off locations will be made public shortly,&#8221; stated Mr. Desjardins.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;What\u2019s important to us is that these used clothes stay in our community and serve the people of the region. It also provides great visibility to the Fondation and is an excellent way to raise funds for the purchase of equipment for our healthcare institutions.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Sainte-Agathe is our first step.
